My Save Game Editor for Wizardry 8

OK so there were no good editors for Wizardry 8 out there, so I wrote one. I wrote it in the only language I knew that could do it, Java. It's text based and completely unsupported, but it works sort of. This version only supports the values up to 255 so I recommend using the version below.

This program requires the Microsoft Java VM (I think).

Wizardry 8 Editor v.4

This is the most recent version (December 19, 2002). It supports larger values and has a GUI, but it will only run on Windows. It was my experiment in learning C# (which is actually kind of a cool language) if you like Microsoft and Visual Studio (which I do). It requires the Dot Net Framework which you can download below or from Microsoft or from Windows Update.

Please feel free to email me, constructive criticism (and praise of course) is always welcome. Understand that I am a graduating senior at NC State and I don't have time to work on this at the moment. I'll get to it eventually. I'll probably finish it when I have time (ie after graduation) and include inventory editing capabilities. But let me tell you, there are a lot of items in this game! Don't expect a new version before September 2003.

Any reference to Wizardry, Sir-Tech, or Interplay is only coincidental. All credit to those people and organizations goes where credit is due.
